An old video of a fire breaking out at an arms depot in the eastern town of Balakliya in Ukraine, is being falsely shared as footage showing Iran destroying an Israeli nuclear power plant with missiles, allegedly causing radioactive leakage.
Ukraine depot explosion misrepresented as Middle East conflict
Iran fired missiles and drones across the Middle East in retaliation for a joint US and Israeli strike that killed the Islamic republic's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. But a video circulating online purportedly showing strikes on an Israeli nuclear facility is unrelated; it shows an explosion at a Ukrainian ammunition depot in 2017.

Information is circulating online claiming that generators provided by Polish volunteers are being sold on websites such as OLX. A video with screenshots of such listings is allegedly proof of this. This is fake. The frame showing a generator with a sticker about aid from Poland was taken from a volunteer's video report; it was not put up for sale. The video combined ordinary commercial listings with volunteer footage to create the illusion that aid was being resold.

Some users are sharing the video and claiming that it shows the US military seizing a Russian-flagged oil tanker coming from Venezuela. Vishvas News investigated and found that while the US military did seize the Russian-flagged oil tanker, the viral video dates back to October 2025, when US Navy SEALs demonstrated their capabilities to President Trump. The same video is now being shared as a recent incident.
